Daniel de Llano is an award-winning author, certified coach and hypnotherapist, specialized in narcissistic abuse and emotional manipulation recovery. Born in the south of Spain, he has spent years working at the intersection of trauma, identity, and personal transformation — with women and LGBTQ+ survivors who were told their pain wasn't real.
His work was born from both personal experience and deep professional training. As a gay man who survived narcissistic abuse, and as someone raised surrounded by women whose stories shaped him, he brings a rare dual perspective: he knows what it is to be dismissed as a queer victim, and he knows what it is to watch the women he loves be slowly diminished by those who should have protected them.
He is the founder of IPSAR — Institute for Research, Prevention and Recovery from Relational Abuse, based in Spain, and a speaker at the First International Congress on Narcissistic Abuse in Spanish. His three books have established him as a distinctive voice at the crossroads of queer experience, emotional abuse, and recovery.
"I didn't want to write a testimonial about how my life got slowly destroyed. I wanted to create the resource I needed — and couldn't find — when I was the one who needed saving."
